Nomination deadline: February 28, 2021

Purpose

To recognize SkillsUSA Florida members who have made the highest meritorious contributions to the improvement, promotion, development and progress of career and technical education in their Region for SkillsUSA Florida.

Criteria

The award will be presented to individuals who have made contributions or achieved prominence above salaried position assignments at the local, regional, state, and national levels. Nominees who have received recognition outside their field of work and those who have made contributions of regional significance will be most highly rated. Nominees must be members of SkillsUSA Florida. Only under unusual circumstances will more than six (one per region) awards be presented each year.

Eligibility

This award is given to individuals who are current members of SkillsUSA Florida, and who have dedicated themselves, and contributed to the SkillsUSA Florida organization, to career and technical education, and/or the SkillsUSA Program of Work as students, teachers, advisors, counselors, or administrators will be most highly considered for this award.  Previous award recipients should be considered.

Nomination

This award will be selected each year by the Regional Coordinator. Submissions are due to the State Director by February 29, 2020.
