Friday, September 8th @ 7PM (Check-in between 6:30-6:45)
The 9/11 Memorial & Museum and AMC Theatres have partnered to give a local opportunity and community event to learn about 9/11 and “the way in which that day still informs the world in which we live.” For a limited time, they are offering the opportunity to organize a free screening of a new 30-minute film created by the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, highlighting first-person accounts of the attacks and their aftermath and the ongoing relevance of the day.
Note: This is not a school field trip and is a community-based event. There are no permission slips required and students are expected to attend with their families.
PLEASE REQUEST BY Thursday, September 7th.
- Confirmation of attendance will be sent on the morning of 9/8 to the email you supply.
If you have any questions, please contact Danny Martins, RHS Social Studies Department Chair (dmartins@ridgefieldps.net) or Annie Tucci, RPS 6-12 Humanities Supervisor (atucci@ridgefieldps.net).
