Students can earn academic credit for paid or unpaid internships. If an hourly wage or salary is not possible for the partner agency, the agency is encouraged to consider other opportunities for recognizing the student’s contributions, including titles beyond “intern,” a semester stipend, and/or reimbursement for gas or expenses.
