Royal retainers - Double Wars XXXV
In order for the Royals to dutifully play Their part as Royalty, They need assistance. When you help out any Royals during an event you are helping Them play Their regal part and adding to the quality of everyone's Dream. For that, we thank you!

** So... who can be a Lady-in-waiting / Lord-in-waiting (aka Royal retainer)?
Anyone! A lady-in-waiting can serve any of the Royals and so can a lord-in-waiting.

** What kind of assistance does a Royal retainer need to provide?
It varies depending on who has the role of a Royal in our society at any given time but mostly it means carrying things, washing feastgear (dishes and cutlery), delivering messages and sometimes companionship.

** Want to know more or share your experience as a Lady-in-waiting / Lord-in-waiting?
THL Gele Pechplumin will lead a discussion group on what to expect as a Royal retainer during breakfast between 10-11 on Sunday, where we can share tips with all whom want to know more about this type of service. Hope to see you there!

In order to help us with the scheduling, we need your information again below. Fill in one form per person to sign up as a Royal retainer. If everyone can help out at least once or a few times it will make everything so much easier! (There are ca 150 shifts to fill as most time slots will require more than one retainer.)

Please let us know...
... how many shifts you want to help out with and which shifts would suit you best so that we can make a schedule that works for everyone. Also let us know if there is something special you would prefer helping out with or if there is somethings you are not able to do.

Each shift is ca 2 hours. If you select more dates and times than the number of shifts that you are willing to take, it will give us more flexibility in making the schedule, i.e. if you choose 1-2 shifts in the first question below but fill in 20 boxes in the second question below, we will still only ask you to work 2 shifts at most.

The Double Wars Royal Liaison will create a schedule for Royal retainers before the event and be in contact with you with confirmation of your shifts and any further details that are available.
