Make Music Wisconsin - information sessions
Make Music Wisconsin is part of Make Music Day, the worldwide music celebration held each June 21, the summer solstice.   The next Make Music Wisconsin will take place on Monday, June 21, 2021.

Typically featuring free outdoor concerts, performances, music lessons jam sessions and other musical events on streets, sidewalks, parks and public spaces in Wisconsin  and across the U.S., Make Music Wisconsin encourages all people, of all musical abilities, to celebrate the joy of making music. Over 85 U.S. cities and a number of other states in addition to Wisconsin, take part in Make Music Day, further demonstrating the power of music to unite and uplift people, spread joy and build community in good and bad times.

Arts Wisconsin will host information sessions on two dates in December for people who are interested/might be interested in involvement in 2021 and beyond.  Several current Make Music Wisconsin communities will be featured, and Matt Fox of the national Make Music Alliance will discuss the big picture and details of participation in Make Music Day.  The information sessions will be held on these dates:

Monday, December 14, 2-3 pm
Tuesday, December 15, 10-11 am
