Mind, Ethics, and Policy: YEA Speaker Event w/ Jeff Sebo
On Thursday, November 10th from 5:00-7:00 pm ET in WLH 116, Yale Effective Altruism will be hosting a speaker event with Jeff Sebo, Clinical Associate Professor of Environmental Studies, Director of the Animal Studies M.A. Program, and Affiliated Professor of Bioethics, Medical Ethics, Philosophy, and Law at New York University. He is also the Director of the Mind, Ethics, and Policy Program at NYU, which launches this fall. At this event, Sebo will be speaking about this new program which will examine the sentience and moral, legal, and political status of animals and AI.
