Intelligent Fungi is a three month exhibition and workshop series hosted by Curiouseed to celebrate the fungal wisdoms and learn from fungi, our greatest teachers, to build, nourish, and heal. It is also a platform for our fellow soil builders, educators, artists, designers, citizen scientists, mycologists to collaborate, experiment, and tell the stories about human fungi symbioses.

The programming is open to the public on weekends August 3 - October 27, 2019 at Swale House on Governors Island.

We accept proposals on a rolling basis and welcome programs of all forms, such as workshops, talks, screenings, panels, nature walks, exhibitions, interactive installations. Topics may include, but are not limited to:
- Mycoremediation
- Fungal biology
- Mushroom cultivation
- Wild mushroom identification
- Mycorrhizae
- Mycomaterials
- Mycoarts
- Medicinal mushrooms

Intelligent Fungi is completely run by volunteers and supported by donations from program participants. While we cannot guarantee honorariums for all program facilitators, we do our best to cover material costs and we ensure you a rewarding and meaningful experience.

- The proposed program shall be open to all during the public hours: 11am to 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays between August 3 and October 27, 2019.
- Programs that engage the public through playful, experimental, and hands-on activities are highly encouraged.
- Children friendly programs are highly encouraged.
- Programs that participate in the Governors Island ecosystem, and/or help to facilitate collaborations with other participating programs on the island are highly encouraged.
