Lyon Arboretum Education Department is pleased to announce that funding is available to subsidize field trip costs or the purchase of the educational digital resources for any Title I public school. This opportunity was made possible through the generosity of private donors and grants.

The Lyon Arboretum Field Trip Kōkua Program will help to bring students to Lyon to experience the wonders of plants and nature or to learn about them in their classroom.

If awarded, the field trip fee for your class/grade level will be waived partially or in its entirety depending on the size of your group for field trips. Only one class/grade level per school can apply for the school year. However, another class/grade level from the same school may be awarded if funds are still available.

For the digital resources are free for Title I schools. However, we ask that teachers from the same school apply and order the digital bundles separately.
