Around the world, people in the sustainability and environmental fields meet at informal monthly sessions known as Green Drinks. These events are simple and unstructured, but many people have found employment, made friends, developed new ideas, done deals, and had moments of serendipity. Green Drinks have occurred in the Pikes Peak Region for over 15 years. These meet-ups have been as small as five people networking at a brewery to groups of over 50 people watching presentations and taking tours of green businesses and organizations. During the pandemic, those involved with planning Green Drinks took a break. Since then, they have planned several events with 5-10 people attending on average.
