With over 40 years of industry experience, Master Tailor Imani McFarlane exacts compassion, precision and functionality into her designs and production. Our goal as a design house is to create maximum affect with minimal fabric, our small yet mighty contribution to a more sustainable future. 

We work with you to bring your concept to reality designing and creating art that lasts. 

Please take a few minutes to complete this intake form* so we can begin our work together. Be as thorough as you can at this stage in your vision! 

Once completed, we will review your intake form and contact you within 3-5 days to schedule a Zoom consultation. Zoom consultations allow you the opportunity to show Imani any fabric, design ideas and areas of your home in need of service. Please allow upwards of 45 minutes for your initial consultation.

*By completing this form,  you agree to begin the process of a custom order and understand that given the nature of custom work, pricing is above retail price. You understand that open communication between you, the customer, and our team is needed in order to avoid delays and deliver the product of your dreams. You understand that variables such as; shipping, out-of-stock fabric, cost of raw materials, and client availability are not within House of Tafari Collection's control.

By submitting this form, I understand that custom work takes time, patience, and cooperation. I understand that my order will cost above retail price and includes cost of materials, labor, consultation fee, installation if needed and cost of delivery. We accept COM, first approved by our design team to ensure appropriateness for your desired project. If your order is wearable, such as a wedding gown, I understand that I must come for in-person fittings throughout the process.  Should my weight fluctuate, note it may require alterations at a surcharge. 

:Policies: 
  • A 50% deposit and full cost of raw materials is required on all projects before work begins.
  • Once completed item(s) leaves the studio, client forfeits the right to any refunds and are subject to full service cost.
  • Alterations and readjustments on items that have left the studio as paid in full, complete and satisfactory are subject to an alteration fee.
  • Rush items are subject to an additional fee (3%) and must be paid in full at time of drop off.
  • Clothing left 30 days or longer past promised pickup date will be considered abandoned and become the property of House of Tafari Collection, unless prior arrangements at the time of drop-off are agreed upon.
  • We prefer client picks up all completed orders. Should it be easiest for client, we will ship your order via USPS Priority Mail, providing you with the tracking number to the email herein. Please note, we do not assume responsibility for lost or damaged items. It is advised that client purchases the appropriate insurance on all shipped orders.  

:Payment Terms:

  • All deposits and consultation fees are non-refundable. NO EXCEPTIONS. 
  • Invoices with payment schedule will be sent to the email address herein.
  • We accept all major Credit Cards via our Square POS system. We do not accept personal or company checks, PayPal, VenMo, CashApp or Zelle transfers.
