Our topic, “The Big Chill” reflects not only the probable winter temperature but also the chilling effect of current extremism and fundamentalism in our society.

Speaker: Marie Griffith, PhD, director, John C. Danforth Center of Religion and Politics

Dr. Marie Griffith is a Distinguished Professor in the Humanities and editor of the Danforth Center’s journal, Religion & Politics. Her research and writing focuses on American Christianity, including the changing profile of American evangelicals and ongoing conflicts over gender, sexuality and marriage.
