Step 6: Board Approval & Offering Of Positions (February/ March)
Step 7: New Board Member Training (TBA)

To Qualify For Election To The Board of Directors You Must: 

  • Be eighteen (18) years of age or more.  
  • Be a member in good standing of JOY Bible Camp & your local church.
  • Fully subscribe to the ‘Statement Of Faith’ of JOY Bible Camp.
  • Have personally received Jesus Christ as your Lord & Saviour.
  • Be actively involved in a local church fellowship.
  • Be willing to contribute your time, talents, and finances to JOY at a level meaningful to you  
  • Be prepared to act as a representative of JOY Bible Camp in your local geographical area to promote JOY, recruit campers, staff, volunteers, and cabin leaders. 
  • Be prepared to serve on at least one committee.  
  • Not be directly or indirectly engaged in the management of a line of business in the camping industry, and are not a director or office of another organization with the same line of business as JOY Bible Camp.
