The UMF arrival date for all incoming International/NSE Students and Scholars is Tuesday, January 11, 2022.
Due to COVID-19 Restrictions and Testing Requirements, arrival at UMF and residence hall check-in is available only on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. No early arrival is allowed.
Pickup will be at the Concord Bus Station in Augusta, Maine on January 11, 2022 at 4:15 p.m.
If you arrive in Augusta later than 4:15 p.m., you will have to find your own transportation to UMF. Note: UMF is 1 hour away from Augusta, Maine. Taxi fare costs $75 - $100 U.S. dollars for a trip from Augusta to Farmington. Exchange money in your US arrival airport so that you will have US Dollars with you just in case!
IMPORTANT: The Augusta Concord Bus Station is no longer staffed and the inside of the terminal is not accessible. Arrival on the 4:10 p.m. bus will ensure you will not be waiting outside in the cold! Do not arrive any earlier than 4:10 p.m..
Arrival at Portland International Jetport (PWM):
If you will fly into Portland, Maine, schedule your arrival for no later than 1:00 pm to allow time to collect baggage, take a taxi to the Concord Bus Station and take the 3:15 p.m. bus from Portland to Augusta, Maine, arriving in Augusta at 4:10 p.m.
Arrival into Portland Transportation Center (Concord Coach Lines Bus) or Greyhound Bus Station-Portland:
If you will take a bus from New York, NY, or Boston, MA to Portland, Maine schedule your arrival to allow time to take a bus to Portland, Maine, with a possible transfer if necessary, continuing on to Augusta, Maine arriving no later than 4:10 p.m.
