Intermediate Musical Theatre Dance Course Registration - Feb 8th - May 16th, 2020

CRITERIA

This class is all-ages, Intermediate Level. No audition necessary for admission.

DESCRIPTION

This Intermediate Musical Theatre Course is 90-minute classes on Saturdays from 12pm - 130pm with Tony Coppola. This is for the Intermediate dancer who already is proficient in basic turns, movements, has a good understanding of rhythm and timing and someone who can pick up choreography at a faster pace. You will learn a mix of technique and choreography, preparing you for upcoming auditions and callbacks in the musical theatre world. Students leave Tony's course feeling more prepared for entrance into the professional musical theatre world.

As part of the journey to becoming well-rounded students and performers, each participant will receive a Positively Arts Journal to record their thoughts and progress throughout their journey. These journals are for self-reflection and self-assessment.

On top of honing in on their performance arts skills, students who complete this course will also have a better understanding of the following Social-Emotional Learning Skills:

           A letter written by the parent describing financial need and a letter written by the student describing their interest in  
           the performing arts will need to be submitted for consideration.

Attendance
You may drop in on any Saturday from 12pm - 130pm for $15.
Behavior Expectations
All students must adhere to our behavior expectations (discussed the first day), including being kind to other students, being safe in our building and listening and following directions.

Students who consistently violate these expectations will be asked to leave. Unfortunately, refunds will not be given.
