Spring 2023 Book Study: Registration 
This spring we are launching a book study. You can receive 8 professional development hours by reading the book, engaging in Google Classroom discussions, and attending our Zoom webinar with the author. Learn more about the book below and complete the registration to get started. 

Book study will start Wednesday, March 1 and end on Tuesday, June 6 , after the attendance of the webinar with the author. Allow for 2 weeks after the webinar for your professional development certificate to be sent to the email provided during registration. 

This book study will entail discussion posts and implementing a lesson from the book. You will receive 6 hours of professional development when the work is complete. Below you will see the list of activities to complete in order to receive your professional development hours. 

Activity 1: Book Selfie
Share a picture of your self holding the book and what you hope to gain from the book study. 

Activity 2: Part 1- The Essentials of Multitasking Mentor Texts
Share 3 take-aways from Part 1: The Essentials of Multitasking Mentor Texts and respond to other. 

Activity 3:  Part 2 -Teaching with Multitasking Mentor Texts (Part 1)
Share the lesson you chose to implement from Part 2 of the book. You will implement this activity for a reflection. 

Activity 4: Part 2 Teaching with Multitasking Mentor Texts (Part 2)
You will reflect on the lesson by sharing what went well with the lesson and possible challenges.

Activity 5: Part 3: You Got This!
Share 3 take-aways from Part 3: You Got This!

Activity 6: It's A Wrap
Share a question that you would like to ask the author. 

Activity 7: Meet the Author
Attend the webinar that will be held Tuesday, June 6 at 6:30 p.m. (CST)
