Occlusive MI (OMI) ECG patterns without ST elevation.
Tuesday April 26th 2022 @7pm-8.30pm via Zoom
Occlusive MI (OMI) ECG patterns without ST elevation.
Around 1 in 4 patients with an acutely occluded coronary artery will not present with the classical ST elevation changes (STEMI), usually seen. Rather, their ECG will display an Occlusive Myocardial Infarction (OMI) pattern that may not be recognised by interpretative ECG software and/or healthcare professionals not experienced in cardiology. This webinar will help you identify the main OMI presentation:
o Posterior MI
o DeWinters presentation
o Hyperacute T waves
• Case studies.
