Submit your artwork to be a part of Art Expedition, an open air placemaking initiative in the Downtown Carleton Place BIA summer 2024.

IMPORTANT DETAILS

 Applications close April 26 (application and artwork) and it is first come first served.
 Artist’s cost is $75 PLUS HST to be paid at the Carleton Place Town Hall reception by May 1st.

 Please wait until you've received a confirmation email to pay the fee.
 Payment is required no later than May 1st. No late, unpaid or incomplete applications will be included in the Art Expedition.

 Payments can be made by debit, cash, cheque or credit card at Town Hall reception (175 Bridge St - side entrance)

 Artists must adhere to the following sizes: 300 dpi. Image Dimension 18" wide x24.5" tall
 If image was cropped to fit the banner, a full-sized image must also be submitted.

 Please submit all images to Ginny Fobert, Carleton Place Gallery, to: gfobert.artstuff@gmail.com Add the words 'Art Expedition' to the subject line.

 Each artist can submit one piece for the Art Expedition

Artwork shall not exploit the bodies of men, women, boys or girls solely for the purpose of attracting attention

Artwork/Displays shall not reinforce negative stereotypes.

Artwork shall not promote the hatred or discrimination of any group.

Artwork shall be consistent with the principle of respect for the dignity and worth of all people.

Art will not be political or exclusively religious, that is, they must not advocate a specific political or religious point of view, or a particular stance on any issue.

Any religious reference must be in the context of a cultural event.

I confirm that I am the creator of, own the copyright to, or have permission to reproduce the artwork submitted for reproduction on the banner

Downtown Carleton Place BIA and its' partners in the Art Expedition are not responsible for any damage sustained to my banner during the Art Expedition.

My artwork (banner) and name will be displayed publicly on Bridge St in the Downtown Carleton Place BIA.

My Name, Artwork and short bio (I provided) will be published in an accompanying guide for visitors to the Art Expedition

My artwork must adhere to the Artwork Guidelines (included above)

I will pay $75 plus HST towards my banner entry. The Banner will be returned to me after the Art Exhibition ends in the fall of 2024.
