Welcome to Lincoln High School!  We are so glad to see you have made it to this page!  This form is for all incoming students who wish to play in band, jazz band, or want to start in beginning band at Lincoln should fill out and submit this form.  This is also for current LHS students who wish to join the band program.

Not sure what ensembles we have and who is in them?  Here they are:

Performance(Beginning) - For students with no experience. No audition necessary - just submit this form and you will be added to the class!
       **If you already play an instrument and want to learn another, this is not the class for you.  Audition on your current instrument.

Concert Band (1-2 years of experience).  For students with some beginning band experience.

Symphonic (Intermediate) – For students with some experience. By video audition OR by recommendation from your current band teacher or private teacher.

Wind Ensemble (Advanced) – By video audition OR by recommendation from your current band teacher or private teacher.

Jazz II – For students with some experience. By video audition OR by recommendation from your current orchestra teacher or private teacher.

Jazz I – By video audition OR by recommendation from your current orchestra teacher or private teacher.

What to submit:
1) this google form
2) An "about me" video
3) A brief playing example. It can be anything you have played this year that you think highlights your best playing. In your video include:
- your name
- current school
- what you play, if you currently play anything
- why you want to be in the LHS bands
- anything else you'd like me to know about you.  
- dazzle me!  

               
After you submit this form go to http://www.lincolnperformingarts.com/band-audition-details.html to submit your videos/recordings.

This google form, the video and any recordings are all due May 1st.  You do not need to submit all parts at the same time.

Lastly- yes you CAN do sports and band!  Many have done it.
