Summer Experiential Camp Adventures!
Catalyst is excited to be offering a summer experiential learning opportunities to students 5th through 8th grade. Classes will be in person, and we will continue to monitor and adhere to COVID state mandates and guidelines.
Locations: Beaverton, Lake Oswego, and SW Portland.
Our classes will be one week in length, however, students can sign up for multiple weeks. The dates for the full four weeks are July 11th to August 5th, Monday through Friday. Each class is a 1/2 day and students have the option of attending a morning (9AM to 12PM) session or afternoon (1PM to 4PM).
Topics include, but are not limited to:
Coding-gamification (options include Scratch block coding,
code.org, Game Maker) or web development
Minecraft
Machine Learning
Microbits
Graphic Design
Tinkercad and 3D printing
Podcasting
Fun with drones
Videography (stop-motion or video making)
Snacks will be provided.
This program will be an in-person learning opportunity with activities designed to be fun, engaging and enriching. Students will be introduced to the variety of topics and can then choose what they wish to focus on for the duration of the week.
Cost $225 per week.
