Workshop Description
You are invited to participate in Let's Connect, a workshop for all Continuing Education Contract Lecturers. Recent literature about how people learn has shown that drawing can be a low-cost, easily accessible, and highly effective way to improve and optimize teaching and learning. This hands-on workshop will get your motor skills running to review the evidence and see how you can use the power of the pen for your own teaching and learning practice.

The session will be led by Giulia Forsythe, Associate Director of the Centre for Pedagogical Innovation at Brock University. Giulia supports teaching and lifelong learning for faculty and teaching assistants. She is an advocate for open education and champions the use of creative commons licenced work, especially for her visual notes.
Your Registration
The workshop will be offered on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, from 3:30 to 5:30 PM, at Heaslip House (297 Victoria Street, Peter Bronfman Learning Centre, 7th Floor). The workshop will be simultaneously available as a webinar for those who cannot attend in person.
