Thank you for your interest in being a CSA Site Host for x̌ast sq̓it / Good Rain Farm!
We are an organic mixed produce farm with an emphasis on growing and sharing Indigenous First Foods. We raise a variety of vegetables, fruits, herbs and meat rabbits.
Good Rain Farm currently services Portland, Beaverton, Milwaukie, Camas, and Vancouver through its CSA drop site program. Thanks to our vibrant and generous community of local businesses, land and home owners, community center managers and co-operatives who participate each year we are able to meet our community's busy schedules with convenient neighborhood drop locations. As we grow as a farm we hope to increase access to our produce within the greater Portland area; we are always looking for new places to host a drop site!
How it Works: From May - November on Thursdays between 12pm-3pm Farm Staff will drop off CSA boxes at your location. Members then pick these orders up in a self service fashion from 3pm-6pm. On Fridays Farm Staff will swing by to remove any unclaimed boxes (members sometimes transfer their produce share into their own containers/bags, leaving the reusable tub behind). If you have already recruited 5 CSA members ready to purchase from Good Rain and pick up at your new location that will make our engagement that much more plausible!
We focus on sustainable and reverent relationship with the land, its plants, animals and essence. We continually ensure that our food is accessible and affordable to all those in our community. Food Sovereignty is intrinsically tied to Social Justice and Environmental Stewardship. We seek partners who share these values and equally do the work to end inequities in our food systems.
If you are interested in joining in this community supported process by hosting a drop site in the future, please read on and fill out our CSA Drop Site Form and we will follow up with you as soon as possible.
