Agricultural Workshop for Veterans: Microgreens - Production Basics. 10 December 2019, 1000 - 1500
Are you a veteran in New York state interested in agricultural? The Cornell Small Farms Program's "Farm OPS" project is working with the Canandaigua VA Medical Center's Whole Health Program and the EquiCenter Farm to provide agricultural education workshops at no cost to New York state veterans who are enrolled at a Veterans Affairs facility.

Workshop Details: Learn the basics of microgreens production for home production or as an added farm enterprise. Through lecture and hands-on learning, topics will include, seeding and harvesting techniques, equipment and supplies seed suppliers, marketing strategies, and more.
This course will be taught by Todd McLane, TC3 Farm Director and Assistant Adjunct Professor at Tompkins
Cortland Community College.

We strongly encourage participants to arrive early, preferably 15-20 minutes prior, to meet the other participants and staff and get situated for the workshop
