MART Gallery Residency 2020 2021
Open Call for MART Gallery Artist Residency Winter 2020 / Spring 2021

The Directors of MART Gallery & Studios Ciara Scanlan & Matthew Nevin are delighted to announce a call for artists interested in utilising our galleries in the old fire station in Rathmines Dublin 6 during the winter 2020 and Spring 2021.

This residency is directly in response to the covid-19 pandemic, where our gallery programme has been put on hold during government restriction levels 3,4 & 5.

At MART we understand that this time is difficult for all involved in the arts sector and we want to continue to provide support and opportunities for artists during this time. This residency will provide artists the opportunity to create, think, build, develop and document work in our beautiful galleries, providing the much needed space and unique opportunity to artists during this time.

As an Artist in Residence you could propose the below but not limited to:
- The Creation of new work
- Documentation of existing work
- Studio Time: Thinking / Creation Development
- Experimentation
