Innovative Choreography Virtual Competitions: Independent Dancers
Welcome to the sixth annual Innovative Choreography Virtual Competition! This is a new way to compete and show off what you have been working on. Our virtual competition will prepare you and your team for the start of a new season, get an extra competition experience in, or to obtain valuable feedback from a panel of experienced judges.

This registration is for dancers entering solos, duets, and/or trios only.  Teachers, dancers, parents and/or choreographers are welcome to use this registration.

The 2023 competition date is February 2, 2023.  You will receive feedback and placement approximately one week after the event date.

Solos, Duets, Trios: $30 each

Payment is due via QuickBooks Invoice (we will send you an invoice upon receiving your registration) or by Venmo (we will send you a request) by the competition date (2/2/23).  Payment must be received by the competition date (2/2/23) in order to participate.  Registrations without payment by the competition date (2/2/23) will be cancelled.

You have choices for which video to submit.  You are welcome to submit a video you already have or record a new one in a space safe for performing.  We love to see the creative places dancers are choosing!  Please know the location of your video will NOT affect the scoring.

Styles:
For the Innovative Choreography Virtual Competition, you will compete against routines in your age division and at your ability level.  For example, all Advanced Junior solos will compete against one another regardless of style of dance.  All styles of dance are welcome!

Attire:
You can wear whatever you would like for the competition (warm up attire or costumes). For routines other than solos, the dancers need to be wearing the same attire so there is a uniform look.

Critiques & Awards:
You will receive video critiques from three judges along with a breakdown of your scores. You can expect to get your feedback/placement approximately one week from the date of the competition.  All entries will receive an electronic certificate indicating placement.  Judges may also give out specialty awards.  Winners will be featured on our social media accounts as well as website.

The email address used on this form will be the main point of contact for competition correspondence.  All critiques, PDFs, and score sheets will be shared with this email address.  The QuickBooks invoice will be sent to the email address provided. If you are paying via Venmo, we will request funds from you.
