Thanks for your interest in becoming a TRiP Leader at UF CORE! In order to become a TRiP Leader, you must be accepted into the Outdoor Leadership Course, which is held every spring and can be taken for optional credit through the College of Education. The course provides foundational skills in leading adventure trips, including risk management, judgement, technical, and leadership skills. A background in outdoor experiences is not required to become a TRiP Leader. Applications for the Outdoor Leadership Course open in Summer 2024.
