Hola! Thank you for your interest in the PUENTES Leadership and Resiliency Fellowship.
Our premier PUENTES program provides participants with the opportunity to engage in a four-month leadership and resiliency development program with other Latin-Jews. In this experience, we utilize a wide range of modalities to explore intersectionality, deconstruct internalized oppression, reflect on our resiliency, reimagine Jewish leadership, and celebrate the bridges we are between many cultures.
GOALSThe goals of this fellowship are to empower participants to:
- Examine their individual leadership philosophy,
- Sharpen their analysis of intersectionality,
- Learn from Jewish and Latino/x educators and narratives,
- Develop tools for resiliency, and
- Strengthen ties with other Latin-Jewish leaders.
OUTCOMES
As a result of participating in this fellowship, participants will gain:
- Access to the PUENTES alumni network of Latin-Jewish change-makers,
- Insight on a wide range of multicultural experiences from the Jewish and Latin communities,
- An understanding of how Jewish and Latin cultures are complementary to one another and can strengthen the way we lead,
