DRC 2022 Registration Form
The Droid Racing Challenge tasks undergraduate university students to design and build a fully autonomous robot or ‘droid’ that uses computer vision to race around a track and avoid obstacles. Most robots have been built around existing RC car chassis but all use varying control and computer vision methods to achieve the goal. Teams will be judged on who can complete the track the fastest, as well as design and obstacle avoidance.

The challenge is sponsored by Boeing Australia, and the Queensland University of Technology.

This years competition will be held on the 14th and 15th of July at QUT Gardens Point Campus.

We will post updates on the Facebook page.

MathWorks, makers of MATLAB and Simulink, is offering participating teams complimentary software, tutorials, and videos. They are also offering a prize to participants for the best implementation of MATLAB and other MathWorks software.
