The Art Colony Association provides unique art experiences and education for the greater Houston community by bringing diverse artists to Bayou City Art Festivals and supporting local non-profit organizations. Over the past 50 years, Art Colony Association, Inc., producer of Bayou City Art Festival Downtown in the fall and Bayou City Art Festival Memorial Park in the spring, has raised over 3.7 million dollars in support of local nonprofit organizations.

If your organization is selected as one of our Nonprofit Partners, are you willing and able to provide a minimum of 4 volunteers per shift to staff an area or activity of the festival during festival hours on Friday 3/25, Saturday, 3/26, and Sunday, 3/27? Festival hours are 10am-6pm with three shifts per day (typically 3-4 hours per shift). *
We ask that our Nonprofit Partners help us promote the festival, as well as our partnership. If selected, how might your organization help spread the word to your supporters? (examples: BCAF ticket give-away on your social media channels, invite us to table/sell tickets at your event, etc.) *
Many of our Art Education related Nonprofit Partners participate in our Active Imagination Zone by developing and conducting a simple arts and craft activity. Service based Nonprofit Organizations often find other ways to participate, such as artist relief, volunteer relief, VIP Hospitality, etc. If you became involved with this festival, how would you participate? There may be a need for Art Colony Association to assign your volunteers to specific areas of the festival a month prior to the event.  In this case, a staff member will be reaching out to your organization to coordinate these specific volunteer roles.
