KINDERGARTEN AND FIRST GRADE . (Copy of Birth Certificate Required at Time of Testing)

STEP 1:PART 1
Kindergarten and 1st grade must pass the PART 1 -Above level DIBELS
Test are given in Room D206 at the District Office 2500 South State Street.
There is no charge for PART 1.
Please bring a copy of their birth certificate
Please note that all enrolled Granite School District students will be placed before out of district and/or non-enrolled students are placed.

STEP 2: COGAT
If a student passes the Part 1 (K-40 words per minute and 1st grade 70 words per minute)
They will be given a date to take the CogAt (part 2) after they complete part 1.
There is a $35.00 charge for students taking the CogAT who are not currently enrolled in Granite School District.
Please be prepared to bring a check/cash to the testing center.
Please note that all enrolled Granite School District students will be placed before out of district and/or non-enrolled students are placed.
