Greetings! This is the online application for the 2022 Beyond The Notes Music Festival that will take place at the Kalahari Resort on Thursday, May 26 and Friday, May 27, 2022.

Purpose? Beyond The Notes Music Festival’s mission is to create and provide profound learning and social experiences through music that go beyond the notes. We believe that young musicians need opportunities to develop in three areas - Skill, Knowledge and Affect (social-emotional). This organization firmly believes that music is an essential component to a well-rounded education. While focusing on the needs of young musicians, the organization also supports and develops the work of educators, pre-service teachers, and composers.

The format on both days will be 30 min performance, 30 min. clinic. We will not offer the side-by-side clinic at this festival.

Fees?
$275 per ensemble - this fee pays for adjudicators and other expenses associated with running this festival. (An invoice will be sent to you with a due date of October 1. Payment can be made with check or credit card)

*$32 per participating student --pays for waterpark pass or Adventure Park pass and a slice of pizza and soda. (Fee not due until April - payable to "Beyond The Notes Music Festival")

*price is an estimate for next year's festival - could change slightly.

2) An invoice for the $275 non-refundable registration fee will be sent out validating your performance time within a week of your submission. The $275 deposit can be paid any time prior to the October 1 deadline.

Are you interested in staying overnight with your group? *

How Much? The price of the hotel room is $108 per room (quad occupancy). This includes waterpark passes. When you factor the $10 for the pizza you are at $37 total per student! When you consider the fee that students pay to come just for the day $32, staying over is just $5 more. We now offer breakfast as well so no need to worry about that either. What are the benefits? Staying the night allows your kids to visit the waterpark two days instead of one. It also relaxes the schedule a bit so you have more time to enjoy the Adventure Park, hear other groups, etc. Will You Sleep? Yes, we help coordinate hiring a security guard to patrol those hallways so you can get some rest! Our registration process makes booking rooms easy. All of your fees will be found on one bill.
