Volunteer Sign-Up: The Arc of Platte County's Summer Friends Special Needs Camp
The Arc of Platte County is looking for volunteers for our Summer Friends Special Needs Camp! This camp will be held Monday-Wednesday, June 21-23, 2021 from 9am-12noon at Lost Creek Elementary in Columbus. There will be a Family Night/Talent Show to conclude our exciting week on Wednesday evening at 6:30 at Pawnee Park.

A volunteer works 1:1 with a child with a disability at camp. The volunteer helps them participate in fun games, crafts and many other activities. Volunteers help the campers practice their talent to perform at the talent show. We plan fun activities for everyone! Volunteers must have completed at least 5th grade in order to help at camp. Volunteers will receive a FREE camp t-shirt!

Volunteers can also help with camp preparations in the week before camp by coming to the Arc office and helping out. Please let us know if you want to help before camp as well. It will be fun!

If you are interested in having a good time at our Summer Friends Special Needs camp, please complete the information below. If you have questions you can email programdirector@arcofplattecounty.com or call (402)563-1699
