Entrepreneurship Track - NauVersity

Would you like to develop your skills in the field of entrepreneurship, learn fist hand from experts and meet likeminded individuals from all over the country? Naumann University takes you beyond theories on a journey of learning, discussing, and offering solutions related to your interest.

Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF), in partnership with the International Youth Ambassadors Foundation (IYAF), launches the Naumann University program, which is a mixture of virtual and on-the-ground sessions. This program targets university students from different majors, in one of the following four tracks:

1. Entrepreneurship
2. Environment
3. Innovation in Education
4. Economy

Neumann University is a unique free of charge program that differs from traditional lectures, because it provides you with an opportunity to scale your ideas, critically assess your potential markets and have a chance to incubate your projects with the support of experts and facilities that will be provided in the program. Furthermore, the program will offer Asynchronous learning and activates to encourage research and fact base discussions along with direct implementation of learned methodologies.

Program Details:

Duration: 3 months (July-September 2021) | 12 sessions in total + 3 field visits |
Duration of each session: 2 hours/week
Program Kickoff Date: Saturday, 17th of July 2021
Location: Will be blended between offline and online sessions

The program is constructed within three main themes:

1. Knowledge: Weekly sessions with an industry expert, knowledge sharing between participants, and a field visits to apply and articulate session learnings.
2. Discussion: exchange of ideas between participants , in addition to a field visit to discuss issues related to the to the themes of the proposed issues and problems to be solved.
3. Solutions : Critically assess and analyze solution with the support of an industry expert and participants feedback in addition to a networking field visit to discuss ideas and drafted solutions.

The Entrepreneurship track will include topics of:
- Basics of Entrepreneurship and its attributes.
- Ideation and problem identification tools (Toyota's 5 whys, Ishikawa Diagram and Problem Tree)
- Business Model Canvas
- Market Research and Customer Segmentation
- Value creation and threats assessment
- Financial awareness in Entrepreneurship
- Sources of funding
- Creation of organizational vision, mission and goals
- United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals
- How Economy is linked to Entrepreneurship
- Marketing and Pitching Strategies

Upon successful completion of the program, you have the opportunity to be a member of the unique Naumann Foundation for Freedom's idea incubator, through which you can develop solutions for programs, projects and initiatives that are applicable on the ground.
