兩個早上的講座將講解和教授巴哈的’十二平均律’的多首前奏與賦格曲和E小調托卡塔曲。
除清晰教授如何在鋼琴上演繹這些巴洛克時期樂曲外，同時解答這些樂曲在演奏和練習時經常存在的疑問。

🔴 Lecturer: Mr LOO Bang Hean
Since returning to Malaysia after studying in England and Italy, Bang Hean has performed in most major concert venues back home and has been featured as a soloist in concertos with many orchestras, including the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra. He is an adjunct lecturer at the Institute of Music, UCSI University, Kuala Lumpur and is frequently invited to adjudicate, examine and conduct masterclasses both locally and abroad. A frequent presenter for ABRSM, he has presented both ABRSM and other seminars around South-East Asia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, China, India as well as the Middle East.

🔴 Content
Bach's two volumes of Well-Tempered Clavier are essential repertoire for any serious musician or music students. What should we consider when playing these Preludes and Fugues on the piano? Is it possible to use pedalling? What are the rhythmic conventions of that period? Is analysis important when learning a fugue?
These, and other issues, will be discussed in this seminar, which will also cover a selection of Bach's Preludes and Fugues commonly used in Grade 8 and diploma levels.
