The First Responder Training aids individuals in identifying sexual violence and its relationship to oppression. Additionally, participants will identify and define sexual violence and the trauma responses that survivors experience and ways to be supportive to them. Lastly, participants will examine cultural considerations within various communities that contribute to both causing additional harm to survivors as well as uplifting them.
