Aaron Fink, Wayfarer Studios, TV Development PREFERENCES: In terms of what we are looking for, Wayfarer is trying to make things that have a social impact component, really more than anything we want to affect real change in terms of the way people see one another. Of course we came out with the movie CLOUDS last year, but our slate is really diversifying and we’re telling a lot of black stories, LGBTQ stories, looking for Latinx, but the key thing here is that none of those stories should be about racial trauma. Everything needs to be healing and uplifting.

Ryan Levee, independent, Producer, Bio: I am currently in the middle of making the transition to Independent Film Producer after spending years as a Literary Agent. I started my agency career at APA, then moved to A3 about 3 years ago. During that time, I sold dozens of projects across all platforms including film, TV, digital, IP, and podcasts. Some recent projects I sold include: the superhero graphic novel BALL AND CHAIN to Netflix as a film with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Emily Blunt starring; an RL Stine TV series to a major network (details under wraps); a contained thriller feature script starring Bruce Willis; a romantic comedy feature script starring Hailee Steinfeld to Columbia/Sony Pictures; numerous horror features to various buyers ranging from independent financiers to major studios; and more. Some of my clients (until I left a few weeks ago) included: the writer of HAPPY DEATH DAY, writer-creator of the FINAL DESTINATION franchise, writer-directors of THE WRETCHED, writer of FREAKY, writer-director of THE HEAD HUNTER, and many more. Most of my business as an agent focused on genre features, and that is what I am mostly focusing on now as a producer. I believe that time and time again genre films have proven to withstand all major disruptions in the industry. They can be shot in the $5M and under budget range and will generally make a profit and/or become major financial successes. The multitude of financing connections I have made over my years as an agent should prove invaluable. Personally, I am also a major "horror-junkie." So needless to say I am very excited to continue working in this space - now as a producer. Preferences: Features only right now. Any type of drama, and comedy but only if it’s horror-comedy. I personally love “genre films”, but I have sold all kinds of scripts and will continue working on every type. Also open to Published and Unpublished novels.
