NIFA Urban Agriculture Stakeholder Feedback
The Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future's Food Policy Networks project is seeking feedback from food policy council members and their partners about the new USDA Urban, Indoor, and Other Emerging Agricultural Production Research, Education, and Extension (REE) Initiative. The USDA Urban, Indoor, and Other Emerging Agricultural Production Research, Education, and Extension Initiative was created in the 2018 Farm Bill and provided with $10 million in mandatory funding. The USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) recently published a solicitation of stakeholder input to assist NIFA in identifying the most urgent and highest priorities for research, education and extension funding.

We want to know how you would respond to NIFA's solicitation of stakeholder input.  Please take a moment to fill out the survey below. Your feedback will be used to inform the National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition (NSAC)'s response to NIFA. We will close the survey on May 22, 2020. For more information about this survey or to share more detailed comments with the Food Policy Networks project, please contact rsanto1@jhu.edu.

You may submit written comments,  identified by NIFA–2020–0001, to USDA NIFA in response to the solicitation of stakeholder input through the Federal Rulemaking Portal: www.regulations.gov. Comment to USDA must be received by June 22, 2020.
