COSAC 2020 – Presentation details form
Thank you so much for offering a presentation at COSAC 2020. This form allows us to manage presentation details efficiently and to make sure that all details conform to what we think is the most helpful format. Please read the following details and then fill in the form.

Our suggestion is that you work offline first to make sure you are happy with the text and that it fits into the space provided. We have limited the number of characters as follows:

1. Presentation title (150 characters, about 20 words)
2. Presenter details/bio (300 characters, about 40 words)
3. Plain language description of the presentation (1000 characters, about 150 words)

An important reminder: Please use language that is easily accessible to an astute high school student. So, please refrain from using discipline-specific and technical words in the title and description of the presentation (e.g., hermeneutics, transhumanism, ectogenesis, eschatology). The concepts are important but good communication means that they should only appear below if they are explained.

Finally, the main website for the conference is at: www.ISCASTCOSAC.org

Thank you!

Title of presentation (150 characters) *
Please refrain from using any discipline-specific terminology in the title unless it is clearly defined (e.g., in the subtitle after a colon). E.g.: "Transhumanism: Doing away with God's design for human beings"
Who is your envisaged audience? *
Presenter details (300 characters) *
A short bio to introduce yourself. Mostly, tell people about your qualifications and experience that lead you to present this topic.
Plain language description of the presentation (1000 characters) *
If you have already sent us a description, please don't just copy your original description; the language used in an academic abstract is often too technical for a broad audience. Remember not to use any discipline-specific terminology unless it is defined. Unless yours is a technical paper (which is fine, but please make it clear,) then the astute secondary student needs to understand it.
Keywords *
Please list a number of keywords that indicate the topics touched on in your presentation. Some you might use are: Christian hope, climate change, sustainability, transhumanism, young people, artificial intelligence, medical ethics, genetic engineering, human being, science, theology, eco-anxiety ...
A copy of your responses will be emailed to the address you provided.
