Since 1965, USAC CSC has focused its efforts towards creating social change. The commission aims to centralize the service efforts of the UCLA community through issues awareness, collaboration, Alternative Breaks, and large-scale service programming.

Alternative Breaks (AB)

ALTERNATIVE BREAKS COMMITMENTS
This is a year-round commitment! Throughout this year, you will:
• Attend your site-specific pre-trip meetings which occur weekly or biweekly (Fall/Winter Quarter)
• Attend All-AB Meetings quarterly (Fall/Winter/Spring Quarter)
• Attend one pre-service trip (Winter Quarter)
• Attend one week-long Alternative Breaks Spring trip (Spring Break)
• Attend one post-service project (Spring Quarter)
