Junior League of Tallahassee Mission Statement:The Junior League of Tallahassee is a nonprofit organization of women committed to improving the lives of children and families through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
The following criteria must be met to be considered for membership:
- Be at least 23 years of age prior to June 1, 2024.
- Reside in Leon County or within a 40-mile radius.
- Possess an interest in volunteerism and a commitment to community service.
- Interest in leadership development.
Each year, JLT provides training for each class of new members to support them in their journey to be effective volunteers and leaders in our community.
New members will complete a comprehensive training program that allows them to learn about our League structure and programs, as well as participate in our community projects.

*A non-refundable $85 New Member Course Fee is due with application submission. This covers the cost of training materials, training space, a JLT volunteer shirt, etc.
