Thank you for your interest in joining the Black Youth Success (BYS) Youth Advisory Council.

Black Youth Success is the organization of which the Black Youth Success Initiative (BYSSI) operates under. The "Black Youth School Success Initiative" is a program for Black middle and high school students in the Peel Region. We support students by connecting them culturally appropriate wraparound supports provided different organizations and community agencies.

Wraparound supports include but are not limited to, academic supports, post-secondary pathway planning, skill-based programming, and one-on-one mentorship.

The role of the youth advisors is to support BYS and it's collaborative partner agencies in providing programming for youth that is informed by youth.
