2020 Leo Pfeiffer Memorial Scholarship
Purpose: to enhance interest in and development of quality education of young people in agricultural related fields

Funding: this scholarship is funded by the Mason County Farm Bureau Foundation and Central IL Irrigated Growers Association

Amount: The scholarship is to be awarded as a one time $1,000 amount. Payment will be made to the financial aid office of the appropriate institution for the benefit of the recipient.

Eligibility: High school seniors who: are enrolled in full-time study at Havana, Midwest Central, or Illini Central; are accepted at an accredited 4-year college or university, 2-year junior college, or tech school; are not immediate family members of employees or boards of Mason County Farm Bureau or Central IL Irrigated Growers Association; have fully completed the application and essay requirements

Procedures: Application and essay must be received by 4:00 p.m. March 27th.

Content, adherence to the theme, grammar, spelling, and punctuation will be judged. Fifty percent of the overall score is based on the essay. *
