A new initiative arising in Europe4Youth Association!
We're digging the Pool of Youth Leaders
We intend this to be a group of young people in the age of 18+ (you decide the upper limit;)) from the Lesser Poland region interested in self-development in the direction of leadership - social leadership, inclusive leadership, civic leadership. Not business, not political (in the sense of political parties), but political in the sense of addressing social problems. This group will be offered to meet regularly in Kraków or sometimes in Rabka-Zdrój (once a month/ 2 months) to discuss further developments, attend and give (if you want) workshops, learn from us and each other - about project management, fundraising, educational methodologies, facilitation of learning, social research or other competences we possess or will possess inside if this group. Whatever you find useful and whatever we can offer!
The main purpose of this Pool will be to offer your skills, awesomeness and leadership potential to other young people!
1. Through youth exchanges! You, as youth leaders, supporting youth groups in attending international youth exchanges.
2. Through your own projects with young people around you! We'll gladly support you in developing your own projects, youth councils, your activism, or accommodate you in those we develop regularly - and this is quite a variety:)
3. Through sharing information, opportunities, and learning outcomes with young people on Małopolski Portal Młodzieżowy, events and other media.
4. How else would you like to - we're open for ideas.
This purpose goes hand in hand with your development in the direction you define, facilitated in a group of people providing a safe space and a learning space.
This group I'd like to be semi-open*. Meaning - it will be established, the membership will be defined, but anytime we can accept new people coming, or (yes, that's also not a commitment for life) leaving. * If you know anybody that would be interested - invite them!
