Prescience Insilico Pvt. Ltd. (PIPL) is working on developing software products and solutions in the areas of integrating artificial intelligence (AI), high-throughput computing, cloud computing with physics-based computational methods in drug and materials design/development.
PIPL has successfully developed its own indigenous software platform PRinS3 (https://www.prescience.in/prins) to enable the pharmaceutical industry and academic R&D to perform high-throughput screening, structure-based modeling, and simulations by incorporating AI and cloud computing for designing/repurposing drug molecules for different therapeutics. This is the first such software platform indigenously built in India. This software platform is designed to solve the problems in drug design by 1. Shortening the duration of time to design a potential drug molecule, 2. Cost of the drug development cycle, 3. Specificity of the potential drug to the target disease to reduce failure.-

The company is founded by Prof. Jayant K Sing (IIT Kanpur Professor in Chemical Engineering, former GM Scientist, IIT Kanpur Graduate, Ph.D. Uni. of Buffalo - with 23+ years of experience in Computer Science and Chemical Engineering modeling) and Dr. Sudip Roy (former CSIR-NCL, Pune Scientist, former Shell Senior Scientist, former VP/R&D head Akamara Biomedicine, former Intel Tech Manager, former Amazon Web Services Head HPC and Quantum Computing, Ph.D. University of Saarland, Germany – 22+ years of experience in scientific computing, AI/ML, and high-performance computing).

Also AFSER is rendering its services for paid project work on PRinS3 ., Drug Design Software for Thesis and Projects of Postgraduate/ Doctorate students and commercial projects in Drug Discovery.
