Your opinion on management of COVID-19 infected asymptomatic individuals
This survey is conducted by the Institute for Research & Development in Health and Social Care (www.ird.lk).

The aim of this survey is to identify opinions on how best to cater to asymptomatic individuals infected with COVID-19 (confirmed through PCR / Rapid Antigen Test) with regards to where such individuals should be managed for 14 days under health care services and what services such persons should receive.

The first phase of this survey was conducted in December 2020. At the moment the health care sector is trying to manage the third wave of infections in the country and your thoughts and opinions on this matter are extremely helpful to enhance the current practices and procedures.

The data provided by you will be only used for this survey and your identity will be anonymized.

The results of this survey will be given to the Ministry of Health and National Operation Center for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak.

It does not take more than 15-20 minutes to complete this survey.

This study is lead by Prof. Athula Sumathipala (Institute for Research & Development in Health and Social Care)

This survey comes under the public health surveillance category, conducted during epidemics, emergencies and disasters to gather health-related data needed for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of public health practice. Because of this reason according to the World Health Organization guidelines, ethical approval is not required for surveys of this nature.

Instructions for completing the questionnaire:

At the moment you could be a person who has never been infected with COVID-19, but your ideas and recommendations on this matter are valuable to us.

Also, you could be a person who had COVID-19 and got cured (with the symptoms or without the symptoms). Then your experience is extremely important to us.
