Thank you for taking the time to share your interest in joining the IMPACT Board of Directors with us! We are excited to learn more about you.
*Please note: This application has 5 different sections to be filled out. Each section has between 3-5 questions.
We love transparency, so we wanted to share with you a little more about the commitments related to joining the IMPACT Board:
1) The Board of Directors is responsible for the overall management and setting the vision for the IMPACT Conference. The Board of Directors works with our National Planning Committee to produce the annual conference, as well as creating strategic partnerships, long-term planning, and overall financial management.
2) The standard Board Term for members is 3 years. We understand that sometimes life happens, so this might not be possible; however, we expect that folks are able to commit for the full 3 years.
3) Board members give between 3-10 hours each month to meetings and committee work. Often, these meetings take place during the 9a-5p workday, regardless of your time zone.
4) Board members engage in one annual retreat and are present at the Annual Conference (location changes each year).
5) Membership on the Board requires active participation in fundraising and giving to the organization.
Interviews for selected applicants are scheduled on a rolling basis.
