826 Valencia Mission Bay is holding a 7-week multimedia workshop centered on food and culture as seen through the lens of the youth. In collaboration with Kain Na, a nonprofit focused on food insecurity, students will explore the connection between food and community, create original writing, photography and drawings pieces that will be showcased. Students’ work will be displayed on Kain Na’s Community Art Wall at the end of this workshop. The workshop aims to amplify and share the diversity of food cultures and practices as experienced and exposed to our youth. They will learn skills such as storytelling, photography, and more!

This workshop will span from February 23rd to April 13th every Wednesday, expect on March 30th, from 4PM to 6PM at 1310 4th St. San Francisco, CA 94158

826 Valencia Mission Bay está llevando a cabo un taller multimedia de 7 semanas centrado en la comida y la cultura desde el punto de vista de la juventud. En colaboración con Kain Na, una organización sin fines de lucro enfocada en la inseguridad alimentaria, los estudiantes explorarán la conexión entre la comida y la comunidad, crearán piezas originales de escritura, fotografía y dibujos que se exhibirán. El trabajo de los estudiantes se exhibirá en el Muro de Arte Comunitario de Kain Na al final de este taller. El taller tiene como objetivo ampliar y compartir la diversidad de culturas y prácticas alimentarias experimentadas y expuestas a nuestra juventud.
