Hybrid In-person + Online Ceilidhs at Oxfolk
Dancing on Zoom was such an important thing for Oxfolk in the earlier stages of the Covid-19 pandemic. At a time when restrictions meant we couldn't be together in the same room, it allowed us to connect. It also meant that Oxfolk was more accessible for people because of disability, caring responsibilities or just distance from Kennington.

Disability access and inclusion is really important to us, and we would like to continue to make Oxfolk's events accessible. The pandemic isn't over and some don't feel safe to come to in-person dances.

We want to ask your views on Oxfolk continuing to run Zoom dances. We are looking at a model where each time we run a dance at Kennington, we offer an access through Zoom.  Music and video would be live from Kennington.  Viewers would be able to see and hear the band and caller.

We would like to know what you think.  Are you interested?  What would help you enjoy a hybrid ceilidh at Oxfolk?
