FIELD NOTES
On May 4th, Research Lab warmly invites you to join us on a walk, a path without a final destination, as a shared experience, where each of the Research Lab participants will hold a stop, marking it with an activated engagement to the audience. We will show, tell, discuss and question what artistic research is and how uncovered it through this study year and beyond.

We are honoured to walk with our tutors Roberta Burchardt (she/her), and matt Lambert(they/them), as well as our special guest and conversation partner Martin Sonderkamp (he/him). Sonderkamp’s choreographic work seeks to expand disciplinary boundaries through collaboration and features stage works, participatory choreography, installation and scores. As an unintentionally formed group of practitioners and intentional group of researchers from various disciplines, we were brought together by curiosity. We want to offer everyone a bite of that intrigue, that led us through the field of craft this year.

We will start at 9:30 with meet and greet at the Konstfack front entrance

The Field Notes schedule:

10:00 Daniela Toledo Escárate
10:30 Karolina Janulevičiūtė
11:00 Ita Drew
11:30 Johanna Jansson
12:00 Molnia Efremov
12:30 Christina Hedlund

At each stop held by the participant, the audience is encouraged to ask questions, give feedback or otherwise engage with the field of artistic practice presented.

Around 13:00 or after all stops, we will hold a closing mingle, sharing food and drinks. Everyone is welcome to stay and continue making marks on the Field Notes.
