What is the Time Travel method?
The Time Travel method is an educational method,
using local heritage in a learning process,
to create reflection on contemporary issues,
and provide tools for community building.
The goal is to promote learning, social cohesion and contribute to community building.

Local organizer is the Bridging Ages in Turkey: Goperatif, Black Sea Ecological Development Association

Bridging Ages is the international organization coordinating the Time Travel work in the countries where it is practised. In many countries, there are also regional/ national Bridging Ages organizations.

Goal of the course
The participants/ educators
• will understand the Time Travel method and its’ benefits for learning and development in school and community.
• have knowledge on how the Time Travel method is used to develop learning and key competences
• are able to plan, prepare and lead a Time Travel program at the own school/ institution/ community.
• have an increased awareness of cooperation between different stakeholders in school and adult education, for instance with local community and museums
The course will also create a space for networking among educators working in the field of adult and school education

Target groups
Educators in any subject in primary schools, secondary schools, adult education, universities, and museums. Minimum 15, maximum 40 people, preferably 2-3 from each institution.
