2024-25 ASG New Member Application

This application for anyone interested in joining ASG who is not a current member. No late applications will be accepted.

NEW MEMBER APPLICATION PROCESS
  1. Applications must be submitted prior to the deadline.
  2. An email will be sent to applicants to schedule an interview.
  3. New member interviews will be conducted in late May to early June.
  4. Results will be communicated as soon as final decisions are made.
REQUIREMENTS FOR MEMBERSHIP IN THE ASG CLASS
I. Application Timeline
  1. Applications for membership in the ASG class will be available in March/April for Term 1 of the next school year, and December for Term 2 of that school year.  The ASG advisors and officers will set exact dates.  The application process will consist of specified qualifications, verification signatures, a personal statement, and a personal interview by ASG elected officers and the advisors. Interviews may also include an administrative advisor (the Assistant Principal of Activities).

II. ASG Requirements: 
  1. Minimum 2.5 grade-point average (GPA), verified with counselor signature.
  2. Demonstration of satisfactory attendance (90%) and behavior, as verified by signatures from the attendance office.
  3. All members of ASG must maintain a GPA of at least 2.5 throughout their enrollment in ASG.  

III. Conduct
  1. All ASG members are to be held accountable for exemplary conduct. Any disciplinary actions of any kind, as stipulated by the extra-curricular code of conduct, may result in the student's removal from office and/or removal from the ASG class (as decided by the NPHS administration, whose decision is final). 

IV. Co-Curricular Code of Conduct Contract
  1. Once in the ASG class, all members must sign the Co-Curricular Code of Conduct Contract
